Gorlochs

We are the Gorlochs, a group of former Dungeons & Dragons playing nerds who somehow found their way into advertising. Along the way, we learned some crazy cool stuff, worked with some amazing companies and people, and were fortunate enough to have produced some award winning work that’s been seen on TV, the interwebs, and on your mobile phones.

LucentPDX

My main project is a social network for musicians seeking community, education, and collaboration. The site is centered around an extensive database of user generated song and riff transcriptions, that the community votes on and approves. My goals moving foreword are focused on the continual development of the social aspects of the site, exploring ways to create more meaningful and fun interactions between users.

Maurerville

Maurerville is the home of writer/planner Jason Maurer. He’s tired of ads and believes that what brands need—what the world needs—is purpose, something to stand for… a cause.

Mugasha

Mugasha is an online music service for fans to listen to dance music radio shows, DJ sets, and mixes. We pride ourselves on delivering content on-demand from the world’s most famous DJs. Think of it as “Hulu for dance music”.

Paleo Plan

Paleo Plan provides simple meal plans that outline every meal of the week. We provide shopping lists to help you make sure you have all the food you need when you go to make it. We offer tips and tricks to eating paleo, shopping, and just managing your eating life. When you subscribe to Paleo Plan, we make it easy to eat Paleo.

Silicon Florist

Silicon Florist was started by Rick Turoczy to help provide a repository for interesting technology startup news—particularly Web-based, mobile-based, and open source technology—from Portland, Oregon, and the surrounding areas, affectionately known as the “Silicon Forest.”

Subscription Tools

Jason Glaspey runs Subscription Tools, a site dedicated to providing tools, tips, and resources for people running subscription based websites. He also runs several paid membership sites with the tools he discusses in Subscription Tools.

Urban Airship

Graduated
Urban Airship delivers messages and content to mobile apps on smartphones and always-on devices. Its platform offers a real-time, direct-to-person experience that helps mobile publishers and businesses strengthen their engagement with app users, rapidly monetize their apps and develop ongoing revenue streams from existing content. Using its scalable infrastructure and easy-to-use tools, businesses and publishers can offload the expensive and time-consuming burden of building and supporting push notifications and in-app purchase functionality onto Urban Airship.
